StreamScoreLive is a live production and scoreboard app for streaming sports events (hockey, soccer, basketball, football, baseball, curling and other team and racquet sports) to a destination you choose, such as YouTube or Facebook. This page explains what the app accesses on your device, why, and what happens to it.
What the app accesses, and why
- Camera and microphone — used to capture the video and audio you choose to stream. This is sent only to the streaming destination you configure (your own YouTube channel, Facebook page, or RTMP server). We do not receive, store, or view this video or audio ourselves.
- Photos and media on your device — used only when you choose to pick a team logo, player photo, or sponsor image to display on your scoreboard overlay. These stay on your device and are only transmitted as part of the video you choose to stream.
- Location, Bluetooth, and nearby Wi-Fi devices — used only to discover and connect a "Companion" device (a second phone or tablet) for remote scoreboard control on your local network or via Bluetooth. This is not used to track your location, is not transmitted off your local device connection, and is not shared with us or any third party.
- Notifications — used for local status alerts about your stream (for example, connection status). Not used for marketing.
- Google or Facebook sign-in — used only to authenticate your own account so the app can publish a livestream to your own YouTube channel or Facebook page on your behalf. Sign-in is handled entirely by Google's and Meta's own authentication systems; we do not see or store your password. The resulting access token is stored securely on your device and is not sent to any server we operate.
What we don't do
- We do not run analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs in this app.
- We do not operate a server that stores your streams, scoreboard data, photos, or account information — everything above stays on your device or goes directly to the destination you chose.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

When you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, or stream to YouTube, that service's own privacy policy governs how they handle your account data:
Your choices
Every permission above can be reviewed or revoked at any time in your device's Settings app. Revoking camera or microphone access will disable streaming until it's re-granted; the rest of the app's scoreboard and production tools continue to work without it.
Deleting your data
We do not hold your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Everything the app works with lives on your own device or in the account you signed in with, and you can remove it yourself:
- Sign-in tokens — signing out of Google or Facebook inside the app (Settings › Stream, under the destination) discards the access token stored on your device.
- Everything else the app stores — teams, rosters, player photos, game records and statistics, sponsor images, and settings are kept only in the app's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. On Android you can also clear it without uninstalling, under Settings › Apps › StreamScoreLive › Storage › Clear storage.
- The app's access to your accounts — to revoke it from the account side, remove StreamScoreLive under Facebook Settings › Apps and Websites or under Google Account › Third-party apps & services. Facebook also lets you request deletion of the data an app received when you remove it; because we receive only your name and profile id for the sign-in session and store them on your device, that request is satisfied by the steps above.
- Live videos you published — these belong to your YouTube channel or Facebook Page and are deleted there, through that service.
If you have any other deletion request, or want written confirmation, email info@datanovasoft.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
StreamScoreLive is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date above.
